How to make your screensaver your desktop background

So here’s an interesting piece of script.

Have you ever wanted to have an animated desktop background…? Come on, you know this is exactly what you’ve always wanted to do, admit it!

Alright, maybe not, but since you’re reading this why not give it a whirl and add this to your list of neat but useless things one can do on a Mac.

Here’s the script:
/System/Library/Frameworks/ScreenSaver.framework/Resources/ -background &

Just open a terminal and paste or type the above command.

This will take the screensaver you have configured in System Preferences and load it as your desktop background.
